Hao “Howie” Huang to Join the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering
July, 2008 — Howie Huang will join the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The George Washington University in August as an assistant professor in the area of Computer Engineering and High-Performance Computing. His research interests lie in grid computing, high performance computing, and storage systems. He will also be part of the High-Performance Computing Laboratory and the National Science Foundation Center for High-Performance Reconfigurable Computing (CHREC).
Howie recently received his Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of Virginia. He is the author or co-author of 10 publications and a book chapter. He also earned an M.S. in computer science from the Colorado School of Mines and the BS degree from Wuhan University, China.
