Research

My main research interests are in the areas of digital signal processing, controls, modeling of large scale processes, design of monitoring systems and applications of systems theory to arms control. Current research projects have centered in use of neural networks for signal classification, performance characterization and dependability of complex systems, and modeling and performance evaluation of arms control treaties.
