Dr. Volker Sorger has received an AFOSR grant titled "From Direct Optical to Field-Induced Modulation of Photonic Modes Enabled by Novel 2D Materials". The award amount is $880,000 over a 3-year period starting on August 1, 2017, with the GW portion being $480,000. The project is a collaborative one with Prof. Bartels of UC Riverside.
