Professor Nicholas Kyriakopoulos teaches and conducts research in the areas of systems and signal processing. The focus of his work is on the application of technologies and methodologies for modeling and evaluating international treaties, particularly in the area of arms control. Monitoring and verification of arms control treaties involve the collection and processing of information on a global basis. His current work is on the evaluation of complex systems with parametric uncertainty and the development of performance criteria and metrics for objective monitoring and verification of arms control treaties.
