Professor Payman Dehghanian has received a $30K grant from Amazon Web Services

Dr. Payman Dehghanian has received a $30,000 grant from Amazon Web Services. He and his team will work on the project “Phase 2: Simulations and Analyses of Synchronous vs. Induction Generators for Mission-Critical Stand-Alone Operations.” They successfully finished the Phase 1 project with Amazon, proposing a new back-up power generation technology. Phase 2 of the project will explore simulations and analyses of the proposed technology to verify the anticipated benefits in a laboratory environment.
