Professor Sorger awarded the GW University Facilitating Funds

Prof. Volker Sorger was recently awarded the GW University Facilitating Funds (UFF) for his proposal entitled "Towards a Smart Contact Lens". The research goal of this project is to develop and demonstrate a multi-functional contact lens to augment human vision via computing support (i.e. augmented reality head up display). Augmented reality is considered as the next step in technology evolution of how humans interact with a computer or cell phone.
